The Influence of Mobile Optimisation on UX and SEO
With more than half of all global web traffic coming from mobile devices, ensuring your website is mobile-friendly is crucial
Heritage Day, also known as Braai Day, is a day that unites South Africans to celebrate their diverse cultures, traditions and shared history. We embrace the essence of this holiday by honouring both our individual and collective heritage. In the spirit of community, we’ve asked some of our team members to share what Heritage Day means to them, the traditions they cherish, and their plans for celebrating this special day.
Q1: What does Heritage Day mean to you?
Celebrating who we are, diversity but unity as one!
Q2: How will you be celebrating this year?
Visiting local places that I have not been to and then definitely a braai with friends.
Q1: What significance does Heritage Day hold for you?
Heritage Day is about honouring family traditions, and the values passed down through generations.
Q2: What are your plans for celebrating this day?
It’s a day to connect with my roots, cook traditional meals, and share stories with my loved ones – so I think that’s what I’m going to get up to.
Q1: What does Heritage Day represent to you personally?
Heritage Day is a day of family for me, as every year my family would gather at one of our best camping spots. It also marks the perfect time of year, not too hot and not too cold.
Q2: How do you plan to celebrate this year?
This year, my family and I plan to celebrate it as we do every year, outside gathered around the fire making jokes and screaming at each other playing games.
Q1: How do you view Heritage Day and its importance?
Heritage Day is all about celebrating South Africa’s diverse cultures and traditions. It’s a chance to honour our shared history, respect each other’s differences, and come together to build a more united and inclusive community. It’s also always nice to have a holiday 🙂
Q2: Do you have any special plans for Heritage Day this year?
Heritage Day is the perfect day for a braai, to enjoy some good food while celebrating the diverse cultures of South Africa.
We believe that Heritage Day is a time to celebrate the cultures and traditions that make Mzansi special. From enjoying a braai with loved ones to honouring family traditions, each of us brings something unique to the table. As we come together, let’s continue to embrace our diversity and use it to build a stronger, more united nation.
